About Our Acne Scar Treatments

Acne scarring is complex, with various types of scars requiring different approaches for optimal correction. Our comprehensive suite of treatments uses state-of-the-art technology and proven techniques to target scars at multiple layers of the skin, stimulate collagen production, and improve texture, tone, and firmness.

Our Acne Scar Treatment Offerings

Subcision

This minimally invasive surgical procedure targets depressed scars such as rolling or boxcar scars. By inserting a small needle under the skin, the fibrous bands tethering scars are gently released. This frees the skin to lift naturally while stimulating new collagen to fill the depressed areas over time.

Using controlled chemical exfoliation, peels remove the top damaged layers of skin to reveal smoother, healthier skin beneath. Superficial peels are excellent for treating mild scarring and pigmentation, while medium-depth peels can tackle more pronounced scars and discoloration. Peels also help regulate oil production and reduce inflammation associated with acne.

Injectable fillers work by physically elevating atrophic (indented) scars to bring them closer to the surface of surrounding skin, creating a more even texture. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers provide immediate volume and are best for shallow scars like rolling and some boxcar scars. Poly-L-lactic Acid (PLLA), known as Sculptra, is a collagen stimulator that gradually rebuilds skin structure, offering longer-lasting improvement for deeper scars.

Targeting the redness often associated with acne scars, the Vbeam® uses a precise wavelength of light to treat blood vessels and inflammation without damaging surrounding tissue. This FDA-cleared laser reduces post-acne redness and enhances overall skin tone, promoting collagen production with minimal discomfort.

This technique creates microscopic channels in the skin, triggering the body’s natural healing response and collagen production. When combined with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), which uses growth factors from your own blood, healing is accelerated and results enhanced. Microneedling is effective for improving texture and reducing scar depth.

A cutting-edge treatment that combines fractional microneedling with radiofrequency energy to penetrate deeper layers of the skin than traditional microneedling. It remodels collagen and tightens skin, leading to significant improvements in acne scars, skin laxity, and overall texture with minimal downtime.

The most powerful option for treating deep scars and extensive skin damage with minimal risk and low downtime. This ablative laser resurfaces the skin by removing damaged tissue in tiny fractions, stimulating robust collagen remodeling.
